The Suhi Mata Fair is a three-day festival held annually in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, to honor Queen Suhi (Sunayana), who, according to legend, sacrificed her life to bring water to Chamba.
Over 1,000 years ago, Chamba faced a severe water crisis. Queen Suhi, the wife of King Sahil Varman, offered her life to ensure water reached the town. To commemorate her selflessness, women and young girls lead a colorful procession from the Pink Palace to the Suhi Mata Temple, singing traditional folk songs.

The Rally of Chamba 2, India's highest and toughest motorsport battle, was flagged off by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on June 16, 2022, at Police Ground, Chamba. Organized by Akshay Singh Anand in collaboration with Hero MotoCorp and the district administration under the Chalo Chamba initiative, the rally challenged participants to conquer the treacherous Sach Pass and Pangi Valley—renowned for their extreme altitudes and rugged terrain.
1st Edition Of Rally of Chamba was done under the Chalo Chamba campaign to boost the tourism of the District Chamba from 9-11April 2021 Rally was inaugurated by Honourable Sh.Jai Ram Thakur-Cheif Minister of Himachal Pradesh.Honorable Sh.Kiren Rijiju -Union Law & Justice Minister & Former Union Minister of Youth Affair & Sports attendedthe rally on the last day and felicitated the winner of the rally.
Under umbrella Campaign Chalo Chamba, the District Administration and Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department organized a Boat Race Championship at Taleru lake built over Chamera-1 Dam situated in Salooni Subdivision of district, named as TheHimalayan Goral 9 th Dragon Boat Race Championship. The tagline for this event.The tag line for this event was Explore the Unexplored. This event was organized as a chain of events under Chalo Chamba campaign. This event was held to promote unknown tourist destination sites in Salooni valley.
